Growing Stronger: Celebrating the Next Chapter of Our Team

2026 has been a year of challenges for our team, both professionally and personally. There have been moments that have tested us, required us to adapt and reminded us that growth is rarely a straight line.

But through it all, we have become stronger.

Today, our team culture is at an all-time high. There is a genuine sense of support, trust and excitement across our salons, and we are incredibly proud of the way our people continue to show up for one another. The energy within the team feels positive and purposeful, and everyone is excited about what lies ahead.

One of the most rewarding parts of building a team is watching people grow into the next stage of their careers.

Our senior team members are continuing to refine their craft, develop their leadership skills and step into more advanced positions. At the same time, our emerging stylists are becoming established professionals in their own right. They are building loyal client bases, becoming increasingly busy behind the chair and creating careers that offer independence, confidence and greater financial freedom.

These milestones do not happen overnight. They are the result of dedication, education, persistence and countless hours spent learning, practising and improving.

Development has always been central to who we are. We believe that becoming a great stylist is about more than completing a qualification or reaching a particular title. It is about continuing to evolve, remaining open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve the experience we provide for our clients and one another.

As our team continues to grow, we are proud to announce several well-earned promotions.

Celebrating Our Promotions

Jarod Director Stylist

Jarod has progressed to Director Stylist, recognising his experience, technical ability and the strong relationships he has built with his clients. His growth within the salon has been wonderful to watch, and we are excited to see him take this next step.

Amy Director Stylist

Amy has also been promoted to Director Stylist. Her commitment to her craft and her clients has made her an important part of our senior team. This promotion reflects the level of expertise and professionalism she brings to the salon every day.

Lorine Master Colourist

Lorine is moving into the role of Master Colourist. This specialist title recognises her advanced colour knowledge, technical expertise and passion for creating beautiful, considered colour results for her clients. Her French balayage skills are some of the best in New Zealand.

Leah Senior Stylist

Leah is progressing to Senior Stylist. She has worked incredibly hard to develop her skills, build her clientele and establish a career of her own behind the chair. We are so proud of the confidence and capability she continues to show. Leah’s move to Senior Stylist means she is now confident in cutting short haircuts.

Mikyla Senior Colourist

Mikyla is moving into the role of Senior Colourist. Her dedication to colour, ongoing education and growing client base have earned her this exciting next step in her career.

Each of these promotions represents an important individual achievement, but together they also reflect something much bigger: a team that is learning, progressing and moving forward.

The challenges of 2026 have helped shape us, but they do not define us. What defines us is the way our team has responded with resilience, care, ambition and a commitment to becoming better.

We are entering the next chapter stronger than ever, with an incredible group of people, an exceptional culture and so much to look forward to.
